Albany Subdivision
Landscape Design

In addition to fulfilling the resource consent requirements, the developer also wished to create a subdivision that felt established, and was thereby able to sell lots at a premium and maximise their return on their investment.

  • To create an immediate established look, large existing site oak trees were lifted and repositioned at the subdivision entrance.
  • Pathways, entrance walls, stone columns, signage and seating were incorporated in the landscape plan to raise the permanence and quality of the development.
  • A wetland planting scheme was designed to establish the banks of the two storm water ponds.
  • Mature street trees were selected and positioned at regular spacings.
