Albany Swimming Pool
Landscape Design & Development
2015 - 2016
We located this 8 x 4 metre swimming pool directly centre of the house terrace where it catches full sun and sits comfortably surrounded by generous paved surfaces.
- Large 600 x 600 format pavers form a beautiful pool terrace and the connecting paths.
- Nikau palms positioned throughout the garden are the main feature plant of the subtropical plant scheme.
- A water feature rises out of deep pond supporting fish and aquatic plants.
- Natural paving stones and pebbles create contrasting textures to the concrete pavers.
"We first met Michael in 2003 after moving into our new home to help us transform bare land to a low maintenance garden for a young family to play in and spaces for us to enjoy outdoor living. The section was an awkward shape but he managed to bring symmetry and create the garden we were after. Now some 13 years on the family has grown up and it was time to change the garden.
We were so pleased with Michael's work first time around we called him back in. Again he took the time to understand what we wanted and completely transformed the garden. We are very pleased with the results."
