This garden was overrun with a mish-mash of plants, had drainage problems and was completely uninviting. The clients sought a low maintenance solution without a lawn.

• Boardwalks keep the user high and dry when walking around the garden.
• Two outdoor living spaces have been created; one for catching the sun and the other for tranquility in the shade of an old fig tree.
• The planting provides freshness and colour in a predominantly shady site.
